Our Vision Statement:

To see men become Christ-centered,
set free from their addictions, and transformed into leaders

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Step Seven Ministries is dedicated to changing men’s lives. We believe that true freedom and healing come through a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

"Whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life." John 4:14

Pastor Tom Roth

Founder & President

Pastor Tom, founder and president of Step Seven Ministries, knows firsthand the struggles of addiction. His own journey has given him a deep compassion for those battling drugs and alcohol. Passionate about our mission of “Sharing Jesus with the Addicted,” he brings this vision to life in every part of the ministry. He firmly believes that true healing begins with a right relationship with Jesus Christ, and we measure our success through transformed lives. Affectionately known as "PT," he sees the first step as simply being willing to CONSIDER Jesus as our Higher Power. PT has devoted his life to spreading this vital message to those who need it most.

Pastor Zechariah Johnston

Development Pastor

Zechariah Johnston is a relational, mission‑driven leader who has spent more than eighteen years walking with men through some of the most challenging seasons of their lives. His heart beats for discipleship, restoration, and creating environments where people feel seen, supported, and empowered to pursue lasting change.

At Step 7 Ministries, Zechariah serves as a shepherd, mentor, and bridge‑builder—helping men discover their identity in Christ and take practical steps toward freedom. His experience in pastoral care, community engagement, small‑group leadership, and volunteer development has shaped him into a steady, compassionate presence for those seeking a fresh start.

Zechariah leads with a blend of spiritual wisdom and practical leadership. Whether he’s coaching LifeGroup leaders, partnering with local churches and organizations, or offering one‑on‑one pastoral care, his focus remains the same: to help men grow spiritually, relationally, and emotionally as they rebuild their lives on a foundation of faith.

Driven by a deep commitment to service, Zechariah brings strong project‑management skills, a heart for outreach, and a passion for developing leaders. His ministry is marked by authenticity, encouragement, and a belief that every man has a God‑given purpose worth fighting for.
